White space really can be your friend...
I don't know if any of you are like me, but I want to fill up every
single space on my layout. I love STUFF.

I have recently been giving this a try. Having once been a newspaper editor, allowing white space has been a huge obstacle to over come. Hehehe... These layouts are both fantastic!
